burner.=20

The following tool for Windows XP allows image files to be mounted =
virtually=20
as CD-ROM devices. This tool is provided here for your convenience, and =
is=20
unsupported by Microsoft Product Support Services.  I just used it on Windows 2000 =

Growing BESNMP.TRC file

To ensure that the BESNMP.TRC does not grow to a large size, it is required for Backup Exec to be unregistered from SNMP.

To unregister Backup Exec entries with SNMP, perform the following registry changes:

Under the following registry key:
“HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/ System/ Currentcontrolset/ Services/ SNMP/
Parameters/ Extensionagents”, delete the following keys:

“SoftwareVERITASBackup ExecSnmp Events”
“SoftwareVERITASBackup ExecTapeAlerts”

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

Topic: Voice Over IP (VOIP)

VOIP is huge and has gained widespread acce=
ptance.  Vonage, Lingo, Skype, Net2Phone, even Yahoo Messenger… the l=
ist of players is huge.  Cisco is a big player (obviously), and now eve=
n their Linksys subdivision has a new line out (called Linksys One).

What’s it all about?  How does it work=
?  What unique features does VOIP have?  How can you integrate VOI=
P in to your existing traditional POTS or PBX phone systems?  All these=
questions (and more!) will be answered by Ray Benoit, President of “Remove the Mystery
” in Merrimack.  Ray and one his engineers will be presenting the follo=
wing agenda, and may be bringing some live gear with them for a demo:
=

* VOIP – Intro to what it is and what it isn’t

* High level overview of protocols
* Major vendors and their pros and cons
* Software vs. hardware and Commercial Solutions
* How to get started
* How to integrate VOIP with traditional voice
* Future trends
* Resources and links
* Q&A
Once again Culminis and Microsoft have provided door prizes.
