- Copy the Oracle install to the hard drive (say in a temp folder)

- Find all instances of SYMCJIT.DLL on all local hard drives (including the new temp folder with the contents of the cd) and rename them to *.old

- Re-Run the setup.exe from the installation folder (not from the cd)

- You’ll need to do the same thing for the patches – copy them to a temp folder, get rid of SYMCJIT.DLL and then install from the folder.
